How much will your modular kitchen cost?
There is no single kitchen price that can be applied responsibly to every home. Your quotation needs measured cabinet sizes, an agreed material and finish specification, hardware choices and a clear installation scope. CMS Interiors manufactures modular kitchens at its Begur factory for projects across Bengaluru; request a quotation for your own plan rather than treating a photograph as a priced package.
This guide explains what to compare before approving a quote. It does not publish client budgets or a standard rate card. The Kiran and Decaan photographs illustrate real completed work, not the price, materials or hardware used in those projects.
Separate cabinet scope from the room’s floor area
A room’s floor area does not tell you how many base cabinets, wall cabinets, tall units or drawers you need. Begin with a measured plan and a unit-by-unit list. Identify retained appliances and any items that must be accommodated before comparing prices.
If a proposal uses a per-square-foot or running-foot rate, ask exactly what is measured and included. Confirm whether base and wall units are counted separately and whether shutters, drawers, hardware and installation are included. Compare the same quantities and specifications across quotations, not just the headline rate.
Kiran’s kitchen: use the layout as a reference
Kiran’s completed 3BHK in Vijaya Bank Layout, DC Halli includes a modular kitchen. Its supplied photograph shows green cabinetry and an L-shaped worktop. Use it to explain the layout or colour you like, then check your own measurements and storage needs.
Ask for separate specifications for cabinet panels, shutters, finishes and hardware. A similar colour does not establish that two kitchens have the same construction or cost. Appliances, service connections and the required internal storage should be settled in your own drawings.
Decaan: keep additional kitchen units visible in the quote
Decaan Farm House – Mulbagal is a completed 4BHK farm house in Mulbagal, Karnataka, with Full Home Interiors scope. Its supplied photographs include a modular kitchen, a utility kitchen unit and a kitchen crockery unit. These are separate references to review when defining the units you want.
For your requirement, confirm whether utility storage, crockery storage or other additional units are included in the kitchen quotation or priced separately. Do not compare a cabinet-only proposal with one that also includes those units and assume the lower total offers the same scope.
Check hardware, countertop and site-work exclusions
List drawers, hinges, handles and any storage accessories in the specification, including their agreed models and quantities. Discuss alternatives as separate options so you can see what changes in the quotation when you revise a choice.
Ask whether the countertop, sink, appliances, plumbing, electrical changes, wall finishes, removal of old units, transport and installation are included. Confirm taxes and any other charges in writing. These items should be agreed for your project; they are not automatically included in factory cabinet manufacturing.
